A five needled pine featuring whirled branches with slightly upturned tips.  Has pyramidal shape when young, becoming spreading, open and picturesque with age.  Needles are soft, light blue-green needles about 4 inches long.

Best in well-drained soil of moderate moisture, but adapts to a wide range of soils.  Easily controlled and can be kept to a manageable height by pruning.

Excellent ornamental tree for specimens, naturalizing, screening, or large areas.

Zone: 3-8 Height: 50-100 ft. Spread: 20-40 ft.
