Spirea, Shirobana or Shibori  
Spiraea japonica 'Shirobana' or 'Shibori'

A unique deciduous shrub in that it flowers in three different colors at the same time.  Dense, flat clusters of flowers - white, pink, or rose pink, bloom primarily in early summer with intermittent blooming into fall.  One cluster of flowers may be dedicated to one color, and another cluster may be a mixture of colors.

Growth habit is dense, compact and mounding.  Leaves are lustrous dark green on top and grayish green underneath.  Fall color is copper and yellow. A very hardy plant.  Attractive to butterflies.

Best placed in front of green plants in borders, foundations plantings and entranceways to show off colors.  Can also be used as small hedge.
