Elegant clump of grass-like foliage all season.  Violet-blue blooms have a contrasting yellow-white blaze on stems carried above the foliage.  Blooms late spring, early summer.

Very hardy.  Will go many years without needing to be divided.

Excellent accent or specimen for borders, foundations, rock gardens.
