Willow, Dappled Salix integra 'Hakuro Nishiki' A graceful, dwarf, willow shrub that has four season interest. In early spring yellow catkins decorate the branches. New foliage emerges salmon pink becoming pink, green and creamy white, maturing to green and creamy white for the summer.
Fall leaves are bright yellow late in the season. During winter, young branches are coral to red in color while older branches are green to coral. The slender branches on young plants grow stiffly outward in all directions giving the plant a starburst effect. As plant matures branches begin to arch and weep for a semi-weeping habit. Very easy to grow. Tolerates all soil types. Also tolerant of wet locations. Zone: 4-8 Height: 8-10 ft. Spread: 6-8 ft. | Fast growing shrub. Has best color in full sun. | |
