Juniper, Blue Rug
Juniperus horizontalis 'Wiltonii' 'Blue Rug'

The Blue Rug is an old favorite.  A dense, extremely low, creeping juniper that forms mats of ground-hugging foliage.

Has wide spreading, trailing branches of feathery, scale-like leaves.  Intense silvery-blue foliage assumes light purplish tinge in winter.

Excellent as a ground cover, especially over large-scale areas or difficult to work with slopes. 

Very hardy and adaptable to most conditions.

Zone: 3-8 Height: 4-6 in. Spread: 6 to 8 ft.
