Picea glauca albertiana 'conica'

Dwarf evergreen with very bushy, compact and uniform, conical shape.  Fine-textured needles are short, very dense and light green in color.  New growth in spring is almost lime green. Overall, has a soft look and feel to it.

Good specimen tree for rock gardens, small areas, or planter boxes and containers.  Slow growing, about 2 to 4 inches per year.  Slow, tight formal growth is maintenance free.

Plant a few feet from structures to provide good air circulation and to prevent fungus growing on dense foliage.  Protect from wind, drought and intense hot sun.

Zone: 2-6 Height: 6-8 ft. Spread: 4-5 ft.
