Weigela, Variegated
Weigela florida 'Variegata'

A dense, compact, mounding rounded, deciduous shrub with gracefully arching branches. Masses of flowers, dark pink with pale pink-white interiors shaped like tubular bells, appear in dense clusters along the stems.

Flowers late spring to early summer with an occasional bloom appearing later in the summer season.  Variegated leaves are green, edged with yellow to pale cream.  Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.

A hardy plant, tolerates a wide range of soil types and moisture.  Excellent showy accent in borders or foundations or as a flowering hedge.

Zone: 4-8 Height: 4-6 ft. Spread: 4-6 ft.
