Fountain Grass, Little Bunny
Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Little Bunny'

This is the smallest of fountain grasses.  A compact, clumping grass, it forms a dense, upright, arching, graceful, fountain-like form.  One of the first fountain grasses to bloom in mid summer, the flowers are small, fuzzy, cream colored, bottle-brush plumes, 1-2 inches long.

Foliage is green, petite, and fine textured. Has three season interest - summer, fall and winter.  A low maintenance plant with no known pest or disease problems.

Plant in full sun in northern climates, part shade in southern climates. Adapts to most soils.  Seashore and salt spray tolerant.  Thrives in consistently moist, well-drained soils.
