Stout erect stems form large clumps.  Medium green leaves turn yellow in fall fading to tan beige in winter.

In midsummer flowers of pink red hang over the grass like a cloud.

Use as accent, group or mass planting.  Also effective as a screen or for erosion control.

Tolerates dry soils and heavy, wet sites near water.

Cut back in early spring to promote new growth.

Zone: 4-9 Height: 3-5 ft. Spread: 2-3 ft.
