Hosta undulata

Showy, undulating, variegated leaves are green streaked with irregular, creamy white centers.  Spikes of pale lavender, funnel-shaped flowers rise well above the foliage 24 to 36 inches high in July and August. Second flush of leaves can be mottled green in center.

A vigorous grower planted more for its foliage than flowers.  Prefers organic rich, moist, well-drained soils, but will tolerate average, medium-wet, well-drained soils.

Excellent specimen or small group in shade gardens, shady borders and beds, woodland gardens, or used either as an edging for borders or for ground cover by planting in masses.
